Mobile phones are causing a new allergic skin disorder, doctors are warning.
The condition is caused by a reaction to nickel, which is often found in the casing and buttons of flashy handsets.
And experts who are seeing rising numbers of patients with rashes on their faces and ears - and even their fingers from texting - have dubbed it "mobile phone dermatitis".
The British Association of Dermatologists says: "If you have had a previous reaction to a nickel-coated belt buckle or jewellery, for example, you are at greater risk of reacting to metal phones."
